I find the validity of the story questionable, but, yeah, good thing if it was the case, punitive charges are not supposed to be offset by profits off of GoFundMe.
These people should be thankful. A century ago their sentence would have been a lot more final, and that would have been by week's end for the whole mess of them, including those in the crowd who just yelled. Ok, maybe month's end as there was a lot of them. Not wishing that upon them, just saying that's how seditious insurrectionists used to be dealt with before the US became more progressive. They can thank Liberals for their current slap on the wrists. Most had been charged with merely tresspassing.
