I'm hearing a lot about this, but I can't find a source for the quote, who said it, and the supposed backlash.
I'm not a calling anyone a liar. I'd like a link to a relevant article, video, ect.

Spoiler alert: he doesn't actually care about children. He just doesn't like queer people existing in public spaces.

If the actual quote is "you cant be inappropriate in front of children" (again, I'm asking for a source so I can get it correct and have context) that isn't even about gayness. It about public displays of nudity, fetishes (i.e. bondage gear), and public displaying of d**dos (which in the past have often been a component pride parades). That public behavior isn't acceptable from straight people either.
