Racism is a part of life in a multi-racial country. Which politicians on the Left openly pursue racist groups for power, and what groups are these.

Come on Larry, you're not making any damn sense here. Leaving the Tangerine Tornado out of it, since nobody with your views can discuss him rationally, please state what DeSantis has done that's racist?

Oh, he prevented the teaching of Black history? Negative. He only prevented including trans doctrinarian from being included. He merely sent it back for revision. In no way whatsoever is he preventing Black history from being taught. You're letting the liberal media lie to you on this one.

Oh, he discriminates against trans kids and gays with the (very wrongly named by the Lib media) 'Don't Say Gay' bill? Negative. That bill says nothing of the sort. Have you read it? I have read it front to back (it's a very short bill, so nobody has an excuse not to read it...) and it says nothing about that at all. All it did was prevent kids from being exposed to sexual concepts when they're in grade 3 or lower. Who with any kind of moral compass could be for allowing that?

I googled "The Racism of Ron DeSantis," and was blown away with the number of overtly racist incidents he is tied to. He is a "Latter-Day George Wallace."

"I googled "The Racism of Ron DeSantis..."

Oh my God Larry! I'm not trying to be rude to you, but you just outed yourself as someone who lets the media and big tech tell them what they "know".

Please tell me that on some level you understand that the way a person phrases what they search for influences the results? That's 100% of how search engines operate, because if they didn't, nobody would use them. If I want to search for anything related to toy cars, but google only displays results about yo-yo's, why would I use it?

Let me give you another example. Let's say you hate cats, but love dogs, and since I'm a cat lover (of course I love dogs, too!) you want to prove to me that dogs are better than cats. So you sit down in front of your computer, go to google and enter something like this: "Are dogs better than cats?”

Obviously, google will only provide you with sites that believe dogs are better than cats.

Phrasing matters. One sided questions will only assist you in obtaining results consistent with your preconceived ideas, which are reflected in how you phrased the question (aka search phrase) in the first place.

Does this make any sense?

When he was a teacher, at a private high school in Atlanta, he used to give lectures about the Civil War. He took the South's side in ensuing discussions. He taught that the South was just protecting their property rights. The property in question were Black Human Beings.

And of course the web site that reported this was 100% objective and had no preconceived notions that he's a bigot?

What if, and this is a big IF Larry, in the spirit of free inquiry, Teacher DeSantis took the side of the South in order to foster a discussion, that he knew would ultimately explain to his students why the South's outright racism and ownership of human beings as slaves was a bad thing? News flash; that's what goes on in academic environments as a way to teach.

Hell, have you never participated in a formal debate, where you have no idea nor control which side of an argument you'll be given?

So I'm not saying any of what I just said about that web site, or DeSantis' behavior is accurate, because I don't know which web site you're referring to, or what their agenda is, or what actually happened (and neither do you, my friend.) But it's just the most obvious reaction to you finding some web page that makes those types of outrageous claims, after using the search that you did.

In fact, I would expect nothing less in the way of what's returned from your search based on using that search phrase.

Besides, whether you agree with DeSantis politically or not, we have to admit he's not a total idiot, right? I mean that man does have an Ivy League law degree, and it's reasonable to infer that he's had political ambitions for quite some time. So why would he engage in behavior, that were it true, and were it to come out, would be political suicide?

I knew it was bad out there with the average American believing bullshit that the media and big tech presented to them, but I had no idea it was quite this bad. Unbelievable Larry, just unbelievable.
