Guess the government will just have to ask the Mormon Church for some money. Because they have gotten away with not reporting to the government how much money they had, and the excuse of them being a non profit religious organization has gone far enough. 100 billion dollar churches.... saving money for when Christ returns... Like Christ is going to give them the time to use money before they are risen.... what a world.

Doubtful...one side or the other will cave. Usually it's the weak republicans but we'll see

There is a segment of the Extreme Right who advocate a plan called "Starve the Beast." That plan is to allow the debt to go into default, in order to not have the money for a "Welfare State."

I think if they are going to try to starve the best then they should starve themselves. The American tax payer pays their paycheck, and they keep giving themselves a raise. Plus most of them also pull social security retirement on top of their 130,000+ wage. Meanwhile their welfare state recipients live on less than 15,000 a year. And they keep funding the war monster. My philosophy, I try to only provide the bare minimum to the government. They still take what they can get.
