It’s obviously true.
We were a moral and religious country right up to the mid 1960’s. Then we started started turning our backs on God, taking God out of schools, advocating single-parent homes, advocating abortion, so forth and so on… and here we are. Now our country is in decline and we are witnessing the results of not keeping our faith.
We were blessed abundantly when we were a God-fearing and moral nation. Now we are besieged on all fronts, a laughing stock, and are being led by an imbecile.

I will be ridiculed by the usual suspects for this comment, but them’s the facts.

"It’s obviously true"

No it's not

"We were a moral and religious country right up to the mid 1960’s"

We were "moral" when we had slavery and segregation? What's moral about that?

"taking God out of schools"

He was never supposed to be in schools to begin with. The US has a secular government, not a Christian one.

"Now our country is in decline and we are witnessing the results of not keeping our faith"

Now can you prove there's actually a connection? All you did is say that one thing happened and then something else happened. You didn't show any connection between the two

"We were blessed abundantly when we were a God-fearing and moral nation"

Again, what do you consider "moral"?

"I will be ridiculed by the usual suspects for this comment, but them’s the facts"

They actually aren't facts

I suggest you read the first education law on the continent— the Old Deleuder Satan Act in Massachusetts. At the time of the writing of the Constitution nearly all schools were under the auspices of churches. A public school was a church institution open to the general public.

Yes. Obviously true.
You keep going all the way back to slavery. We abolished that way back in 1865.
Do try to keep abreast.
