I've said this already but I'll say it again, I'm talking about when republicans are banning books just for being supportive of LGBTQ+ people, or the time republicans tried banning a book about seahorses because it says male seahorses get pregnant when that's just what seahorses do.
And I have no way of telling if a book is just pornographic or if it supposed to be educational, because that stuff is very important but I'll assume that every book being isn't meant for sex ed (Which lets be honest the likelihood of that being true is as close to being none as it can get.
And showing innapropriate imagery to children is not just a gay thing, and in fact the majority of it I see happening and being shown to the most children, is straight. but I don't see people being like "We need to eradicate the straight books to protect our children" because it is not happening, even if it is all just pornography it is still being targeted at gay people, and if they are making a movement to ban all innapropriate imagery, it is certainly not being used as a way to attack straight people.
