By doing what? Supporting health care that is proven to help with mental health and overall well being? maybe they just recognize that gender and sex are not the same and that gender affirming care helps trans people. like the title of the meme said, people will willingly stay in denial.

I’m not against trans people, but I am against cosmetic procedures, and unnecessary medical treatment that line the pockets of the medical establishment. The science is not based on a good timeline. So when these individuals reach age 40 or 50 we don’t know what will happen. It also places a burden on the medical system when people need diagnosis and treatment for cancer or rare genetic disorders , but are waisting time to help the trans gender patient who can’t just dress the part and be happy with dressing trans. Why change the body to accept your own body?

Not every doctor wants to treat cancer. Some doctors would rather do cosmetic surgery or gender affirming care or pediatrics or bowel diseases or bone diseases, or any number of other things that are related to cancer or rare, genetic disorders. That's like criticizing police who investigate insurance fraud or arson because there are serial killers who haven't been caught.

Providing gender affirming care for transgender people is not wasting time. It's making their lives better.

Gender affirming care is proven to help their mental health, and some people just aren't happy with dressing the part, If changing their body is making them happier and making them feel comfortable in their body then you don't really have a right to take it away from them.

It’s all fun and games till they reach 65 and the tax payer is paying for unnecessary health care options. If someone is going to commit suicide because they can’t change their body to a man or woman, they need help mentally. Insurance companies take the hit with the taxpayer. If Medicare and Medicaid are forced into paying unnecessary health care procedures, the federal and state governments will be in unlimited debt. In the 90s insurance companies denied many cosmetic procedures, even if they weren’t cosmetic. Take TMJ for example, insurance doesn’t care how bad your jaw and face hurts, I was considered cosmetic to many insurance companies.

Define gender affirming care because I don’t see a medical reason why a boy would need estrogen pills to grow boobs. Is that really medically necessary. Why would a girl need testosterone to grow facial hair? Is that medically necessary, because they sure as hell ain’t going to die if denied that medical alteration.

Gender affirming care is medical care meant to help people feel better about the body they have and be more comfortable in it, like I said if they are happy with it you really don't have a right to take it away. and equating someones mental struggles to "you ain't dying so get over it" is just stupid, denying someone the care they need to improve mental health and invalidating their mental health struggles is how it gets worse, and when mental health problems get really bad, people will die because of it. Arguments like this are the reason the mental health of LGBTQ+ people in general is a problem, so go back in your hidey hole in stop trying to interfere with other peoples lives for no reason.

do you know what it's like to live with a chronic disease that has no cure and just therapy? someone who gets in a bad car accident and can't get a surgy on their damaged spine? The issue is that sure anyone with this situation has to learn to accept their new damaged body. Its like adjusting to life in a wheel chair. Nothing is going to make that person who use to walk, walk again. Harsh reality facts of life. Nothing can make them happy. Sure all the mental health and therapy can help, but nothing can be done to alter their body into happiness. People in wheel chairs, and people living with chronic disease have committed suicide all the time. I guess people are now just waking up the the facts of life. I find it ridiculous that America is still far behind when it comes to handy capped homes and apartments. But my priorities are different compared to someone who is so involved in gender affirming care.

I couldn't find the whole list but here is part of it, these are not just small organizations ran by a biased person, these are major organizations specialized in this field.

This is the whole equal treatment of lgbtq patients. A doctor can’t refuse care because someone is lgbtq. The bias or delay in or refusal of diagnosis is really a problem not just towards the lgbtq, but for women and humans with different racial backgrounds. Women have always had difficulties in the medical field because men were the most studied in te medical profession. But thank god the times have changed. Women and men have different bodies with different health conditions and even experience heart attacks differently.
