No, it didn’t. Gorbachev was responsible for the collapse of the USSR. Also the USSR was the world’s 2nd largest economy at that time so I don’t see how it could’ve caused the collapse.

Calling the PRC capitalist is almost stupidly redundant. Yes, they do allow private businesses, but practically all reasonably sized ones are controlled by the PRC either directly, like with Tencent and how people that have power over it are government employees, or indirectly through owning shares. Also you cannot say “China capitalist” when something good happens and “China communist” when (supposedly) something bad happens.
