When I read "explodes" it made me think of the time Swallwell was on the Chris Matthews show. It looked like Swallwell was making a fart face when it happened but I also heard that Chris Matthews was well known for farting in public. That still doesn't rule Swallwell out of the equation but the fart sound was probably Matthews.
