Tucker may have drawn in viewers, but he chased away prime advertisers. FOX wasn't generating as much profit off him as they could have been. Being part of what cost them $787 made him costlier than he was worth, and provided a good excuse to dump him. I mean, maybe Hannity and Ingraham are next to go, but so far...

Bottom line is, Tucker is toxic. He wasn't gotten rid of because he was raking in the bucks for them. Even if he was a YouTube hit that wouldn't be enough to pay for what he's used to for lunch.
