A lot of people are calling this lady homophobic because she said that having diversity in video games via the gameplay types is more important than just showing gay people. How is that homophobic?

But even then, while I might agree with the sentiment, she gets some details wrong, too. PlayStation has racing games, 3D platformers, 3rd person shooters, survival games, horror games, and others exclusively on their own platform.

I’m no fan of PlayStation myself. The meme that their games are all the same and are basically glorified movies is something I hold true to. But they do make other types of games, too.

Is it really homophobic to say you want different types of games to play instead of different types of people to look at in the games?

No it isn't.
And when I ever want to make a game, I want it to be simple, with a simple story, and objective.
No propaganda, just a video game.

Unlike most people who say they don't really want politics in pop culture, I actually don't want politics involved with stuff like this.
