My hearing is just fine, the fact is that the individuals that capitalism hate so much are the ones that contribute nothing to society.. people that have their hand out to the government. welfare recipients that think they deserve more tax payer money. I can't forget the non skilled laborers that think someone should be able to afford a house and 3 kids while working at McDonalds as a fry cook.

Social democracy ≠ socialism.

Things like free healthcare, higher wages, public projects and other things that benefit the public won’t come out of tax payer money, it would come out of the surplus value produced by one’s labor. For example, if you work at a factory producing $50 worth of goods and earn $25 an hour, instead of the extra $25 going into the pockets of the capitalist that owns said factory, it would go to things that benefit the people. It’s rich hearing from you that “socialists are lazy” when the system you’re supporting benefits a few people at the top that make an unfathomable amount of wealth from doing nothing but owning capital, which they were probably born into anyway.

Also there is no socialist claiming someone should be able to afford a house and 3 kids while working at McDonald’s. Wanna know why? Because private property isn’t a thing under socialism, or at least it’s heavily restricted. It just further shows that you don’t understand the difference between social democracy and socialism, which is understandable, but please get your definitions straight next time.

1: you can not free health care with open borders , we would bankrupt our health care system and collapse it. Free health care would be possible without mass unchecked immigration.

2: I support capitalism because I come from the south side of Chicago , my father was a dock worker at sears , I lived in a 2 bedroom apartment with 6 brothers and sisters - My family had nothing - I went to community college , worked and paid my own way through 4 years , recieved my associates degree in applied sciences and started an apprenticeship through the school at a welding shop. That was 16 years ago, Through capitalism , working and making money from education and skilled labor , I bought my first home in 2008 , I paid it off in 2019. People on your side claiming they want a "living wage" from nonskilled, entry level jobs is beyond ridiculous. Blaming job creators for the lack of determination and self improvement in ones self is self destructive. Stay in school, get an education, learn a skill that you can apply to a work environment and make money and be independantly wealthy. #capitalismworks

1: I never mentioned anything about borders needing to be opened, but even then, this claim needs to be heavily substantiated.

2: Anecdotal evidence + who will do the “unskilled” labor and how will they survive then + being independently wealthy objectively won’t happen under capitalism because being dependent on the bourgeoisie is more profitable for them and they’re very powerful + unbased hashtag.

No, seriously, that’s it.

I’d also like to know how what your job that requires “skilled labor” is, it’s almost as if you’re vague on that part on purpose.

If you knew what applied sciences are you would know, also seeing I mentioned an appreticeship at a welding shop ..I thought that would have given a pretty big clue to what I do. Closing the border and heavely regulating immigration seems to be common ground we could work on. My experienceis Not anecdotal evidence , it is a real life exmaple on how capitalism works if a person applies their self and uses capitalism the way it is supposed to work.

being independently wealthy objectively won’t happen under capitalism because being dependent on the bourgeoisie is more profitable for them and they’re very powerful -

this claim is debunked every day by Americans opening up small businesses and creating products that people want to buy.

I wanted to backtrack to something you mention - Also there is no socialist claiming someone should be able to afford a house and 3 kids while working at McDonald’s. Wanna know why? Because private property isn’t a thing under socialism, or at least it’s heavily restricted.-

Do you not own or rent a home or house? Do you not drive a car? Do you understand what it would mean to lose your personal property? Ask you mom and dad what they think about losing their right to private property.

57% of Americans don’t even have enough money for a $500 emergency aid, so I think it’d be fair to assume the majority of them don’t have enough capital to start a business. And even if they do, someone needs to farm the crops, manufacture the products and cook the food. Not everyone can be business owners. Even if you’re lucky enough to have enough capital to start a business, there is still the possibility of it failing; around 20% within a year, to be precise.

Also, there is a difference between private and personal property, y’know. Socialists don’t exactly advocate for taking your toothbrush,

Were were not talking about the majority of Americans, you said that people could not become independently wealthy under capitalism, Which is outrightly and completely false. Unfortunately poverty is not a capitalist only problem, any country with any large population is going to have poverty , in fact I remember reading that somewhere around 90% of the worlds population live in poverty. Banks loan capital to people all the time to start a business - and special loans are even available for women and people of color specifically.

Ah yes, the imperial periphery. I don’t know what to tell you, countries like Somalia and Bangladesh are just as much capitalist as the U.S. and Switzerland. And about the majority of Americans not being able to become independently wealthy under capitalism being “completely false”, source?

Also you do realize you need to qualify for a bank loan, right?
0 ups, 2y
75% to 82% of small buisiness loans get approved, special loans for minoriites and women spike to 85% to 90%. You just strike me as someone that doesn't have very much real life experience. As long as you have a job and an income most any bank will give you a loan.
