I keep a snub nose .38 in an ankle holster and my wife keeps one in her purse.
I've also got a beretta 9mm (my first ever gun) that I've had under the car seat for about 5 years now.
Only pulled the beretta and the 38 once each, my wife never.
Ironically enough my wife is infinitely more dangerous than I am because as soon as she shoots she panics that they might get back up so she keeps going.
I'd shoot twice and walk away quickly, my wife would literally just keep unloading on them until she's out of bullets. lol and thats why we don't give her anything that holds more than 6.
If I gave the 9mm with an extended mag, there'd be nothing left to identify
