Christmas is celebrated too early but that's nothing compared to how much pride month pushes itself

Yeah... idk what the big deal is. Straight people get the other 11 months, don't they? So why are they complaining about us getting June?

Wrong, straight people only get their wedding day and anniversary to celebrate their sexuality, straight people only get one day of the year while the gays get an entire month. The gays also have their celebrations entirely paid for by giant corporations, celebrated on entire city blocks and these street festivals are free. Straights have to pay for their celebrations out of their own pocket.

Straight people don't really have to celebrate as much though, because no one died in history while fighting for their rights. And straights really do have it a lot easier. It's illegal to be straight in literally zero places. So there's not as much to celebrate, anyways.

So you get it, making your "straight people get the other 11 month" is pointless. Straight people don't celebrate their sexuality every other month so it's understandable why they would view it as ridiculous for gay people to have huge celebrations just for their sexuality, something that isn't an accomplishment or something they can help.

We have pride to celebrate and acknowledge the history of LGBT+ people. I don't think it's that ridiculous to honor the people who literally fought for our rights.
