Irrelevant to this meme, very English focused, many countries still don't allow female actors, or at least it is considered tabboo, and 1661 was 360 years ago as of now. Get with it.

Good Fellas Hilarious Meme | WHEN PEOPLE THINK ACTORS PERFORMING IN DRAG HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SHAKESPEARE | image tagged in memes, good fellas hilarious | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Those 20th century actors were in drag for laughs or it was part of the plot, not because women weren't allowed to perform. Also, one is a cartoon bunny.

That's why your Shakespeare meme is irrelevant, also because the issue still exists around the world. It isn't relevant to the idea in the original meme.

Come back when you can have a discussion without making a meme first.

They're also FICTIONAL characters. Also most them were NOT cross dressers. They crossed dressed to pull a scam of some kind.

Alternate reality universe Mrs Doubtfire:
A man cross dresses as a woman exclusively so he can get close to a group of 6 year olds and strip for them at a gay bar; set up by his friend with an unhealthy obsession with talking about s*x with children and became a school teacher to make it happen...
