Nope. Portland tried that and when the crime rate instantly shot up they claimed it was a conservative idea even though we both know darn well whose idea that was.

You may think defunding the police is a good idea, but if you’re for banning guns, that puts us in the same danger you worry about with the existence of the police. And Democrats don’t want the police gone, they just want them replaced with their own law force. It should be basic knowledge that taking away law enforcement is just going to make crime rates skyrocket. Unless you have the whole mentality “nothing is a crime if it aint seen” or “nothing is a crime if everything is allowed”
