They are both equally dangerous. They both become extremely dangerous when there is no upkeep, maintenance, regulation, monitoring, and audits. Plus the companies transporting chemicals under ground or via rail, are very much lacking regulation in a free economy called American. This is just getting worse over the years when you have federal laws lacking compliance and state laws relaxing compliance or vice versa. These companies get away with violating laws all the time because they can afford the fee. So they actually should be feed and shut down. Plus the regulations for a company’s production has no limit. When you have a chemical company that produces 500,000 tons a year just because is crazy. You would think by now companies would produce only on the contract for the amount needed instead of pushing it out to other countries, or stockpiling massive loads of unused toxic materials used in industrial applications.
