Technically drawing anthro animals doesn’t make you furry either. It’s your choice whether to be a furry or not. I’ve seen a similar post where one person in the comments complaining that people kept calling them a furry because they were drawing dragons. Whatever you draw doesn’t make you a furry, and you can still draw furries without being one.

while we're on the subject, I have a poll for anyone looking into this comment section: Do fantasy races that take a likeness to animals (say, elder scroll's Argonians) count as furries? why or why not? I asked several groups on discord and the general consensus appears to be "no, they do not count as furries as their appearance lends themselves to more easily convey their abilities and cultures, which is likely the original goal of the developers and writers as opposed to making a race for furries."
