That's false. I work for a living so I rely on myself. I purchase things I need with money that I've earned at my job. The government doesn't provide for me and god doesn't provide for me. I take care of myself.

And if you think God will protect you from harm, you're going to be in for a rude awakening if somebody comes at you with a weapon. Your God isn't going to stop knives or bullets from hurting you. He's not going to stop disease from destroying your body.

No, they aren't. Atheism says nothing about what form of government is best. Atheism is about one issue and only one issue, and that is whether or not a god exists. But since you brought it up, if you look at history, and up to the modern day, governments run by devoutly religious people are very often oppressive and theocratic.

The woke movement is all about replacing God and his value system with Big Government. (Socialism/Communism) And using it to silence their critics. Deny if you will, but it's obvious to everyone.

You always group "religious" people together. The Catholic church was very totalitarian and brutal, yes. But the RCC as an institution is a counterfeit form of Christianity. The devil loves to raise up counterfeit Christians to do all sorts of evil in the name of Jesus. (Many individual Catholics have come to saving faith in Jesus, in spite of the teachings of their church. Don't get me wrong. Many are my friends.)

Traditionally, big goverments have always maintained close ties with religion - that's the reason for the 1st Amendment's prohibition against Congress establishing a federation-wide religion, as that smacks of the monarchy that was revolted against and how religion has been utilized as a means of justifying the crown - annointed by God, no less, so they claim.

So Monarchists, Fascists too did it, Hitler tried to 'revive' Germanic paganism - even Stalin used the Russian Orthodox Church to rally support from the masses for the war effort in WWII, and allowed it more freedom than other religions afterwards.

Rome did it too, via Christianity, which it adopted as a tool to inspire and revive the sagging Empire. Saul/Paul was an anti-Christ who stole the nascent Church from Jesus's hand-selected Apostles and his own brother, for crying out loud. The Bible defines the Anti-Christ as a Man, of European descent. Short and with a big mouth, speaking blasphemous things against God. Rejecting all moral standards. Claiming himself to be God. "Denying the Father and the Son." And the numerical value of his name in Hebrew will = six hundred and sixty six.

You have some "interesting" ideas, but no historical support or validation. Paul was a murderer of Christians who repented and became a sinner saved by Grace. A "chosen vessel" of God. He was constantly on the road or in prison, and had no way to "heist control" of the church.

How could he possibly "re-write" the Bible? Our OT is verified accurate by the Dead Sea Scrolls and Jewish writings. The NT was written by numerous authors and not compiled until after Pauls' death.

Real Christians will be feeding the poor, healing the sick, protecting the innocent (think abortion), loving their enemies, showing compassion for the lost (think LGBTQ), loving their neighbors, and telling people about how much Jesus loves them and wants them to escape the Judgement to come. They will love their Father in Heaven and try to follow his rules of conduct as best they can.

The will have a song in their hearts, and joy in their lives.

Despite ye olde "some of your best friends are atheists" trope, you don't seem to understand them pretty well. Atheists have no God to rely on because they choose not to, not recognizing any, and eschew the need to make them central to their identity. They rely instead on looking into themselves for validation, relation to reality, a moral code, a sense of self, ideology.

In contrast, big government is for those in need of overbearing authority to inform them of their values, their place in the world, and provide them a thin veneer of a facsimile of actual identity as individuality is something they gleefully subjugate to their overlords. That this bears a striking resemblance to your basic religious fundamentalist is no coincidence, claiming salvation though the power of enslavement with big ornery vengeance fueled Gods as masters.
