In 1616 Galileo presented his Heliocentric theory that the Earth revolves around the Sun, not the other way around and was accused of heresy, which could have earned him a death sentence. He was told to shut up about it and released, but he persisted, and in 1632 he published a book with the supporting evidence he had accumulated. He was called before the Inquisition again and found guilty of heresy and was sentenced to life imprisonment. However, over time, his Heliocentric model has been proven to be correct.
Today, insisting that XX=female, and XY=male is essentially Heresy to the Woke Left. A person insisting that genetics and genetics alone determine gender won't be sent to prison, but they will be canceled and/or ridiculed publicly.
We have learned nothing. Even when the Scientific Data and facts are presented, we insist on twisting the facts to support our beliefs, rather than adjusting our beliefs based on the facts.
We don't "Follow the Science" when it doesn't suit us.
Today, we judge those who judged Galileo as being fools.
