As history has amply taught 'thinking people', the average liberal is the 'useful idiot' that the Marxist leaderships of the old Soviet Union and Communist China chortled over having used to ram the horrors of Marxism into existence inside their respective nation.
It is possible for cynical manipulators to use liberals thus because the ideological breed specializes in lying to themselves in order to mindlessly 'advance' virtue-signaling feel-good issues at the ultimate expense of their own nations.
