I can't even imagine what kind of mental gymnastics are required to understand her thinking for voting against that.  What kind of person could just stand by and watch while a helpless, living human being slowly dies in agony and do nothing to even ease their suffering?

The only reason the right pretends to care about lives being lost to abortion, is that it is a useful tool to use to get people all emotionally twisted up about controlling the rest of us. They couldn't give a half a damn about abortions, and are proving it every day that they do nothing about it.
