The irony here is you thinking the nurses wages are profits.

People who get a paycheck are paid a salary for their labor.

Profits and wages are two entirely different words with different meanings entirely.

I dunno, I would say that I need to make a *profit* from my job if I'm going to stay there.

The funny part is you think hospitals make profits.

I work at one of the hospitals (not as a Dr. nurse but doing testing) I have been out sick 😉 the last two days. I don't want to cross the picket line. I cringe just thinking of it.
But alas, my solidarity can't last forever. My regular day off is Wednesday so on Thursday I will go back to work, regardless of the stike.
