Anyone who can directly affect how stock prices go, by putting out laws and policies that can affect those stock prices, should be barred from making stock investments.

And they try the bullshit explanation that they're not really insiders because they don't work inside the companies whose stock they bet correctly on. Maybe not, but they often DO have access to non public information, which is what insider trading is.
