First: this is all based on outdated information. 2008? 1997?!?! The Furry Fandom then would hardly be representative of the Fandom now.
And second: one of the biggest does not necessarily mean most popular. And I'm pretty sure if you looked at other Furry conventions, they would not do those things at all.
