By registering as independent, she needs to gather significantly more signatures to be on the ballot for re-election. The DNC will not necessarily support her. And the campaign marketing firm associated with the Dems has dropped her. Also, after bucking the Dem agenda, there is a very good chance the DNC told her they will run and support a different candidate in the primaries. That is the method the Dems use to get the party line vote.

You don't think the Dems will take and accept her support on issues she still agrees with them on, in return for supporting her?

They will take the Senate votes she gives them. But no, she bucked the agenda too much already.

Sho may also want to distance herself from the Democratic Party, due to the Worse Than Watergate Scandal going on right now.

She was instrumental in reducing $3.2T spending down to $1.2T. The DNC will not forgive. She is not a team player.

Sinema: "My vote belongs to Arizona, and I do not trade my vote for political favors -- I vote based only on what is best for my state and the country," she said. "I have never, and would never, agree to any bargain that would hold one piece of legislation hostage to another."

I've seen that comment and others like she would not caucus with Republicans. So wouldn't that leave her in a vulnerable position?

Arizona is a purple state, with good third of voters registered as independents. She, like Manchin, have put their voters ahead of the Dem national agenda. It may get her re-elected. Time will tell. She also stands with AZ voters who demand a stronger border.

Yes, I know she's gone against Democrats numerous times like Manchin. And putting the voters ahead of the Democrat national agenda is an admirable quality, as is demanding a stronger border. But as you said time will tell if she can be re-elected.

Do you mean Alberta Premier Danielle Smith who cancelled her health consulting agreement involving the World Economic Forum? The United Conservative Party premier who said she is in lockstep with federal Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, who has stated he and his caucus will having nothing to do with the World Economic Forum?
