i don’t know about you but I sure as hell don’t want another Columbine or even a Uvalde school shooting to happen again. The police have proven themselves to not be dependable in dealing with those situations and only make them worse with their inaction to begin with. I’m as uncomfortable as you are giving school staff access to firearms, but if they’re only used responsibly and to protect their students then I don’t see the harm. It might help prevent another school shooting from taking more innocent lives.

No, but why do you want to put a gun in child’s hands though? Why do you think they need to have one in school instead of an adult?

I think both children and adults need access to guns. Many foreign countries train their children at very early ages to use guns. Maybe liberals wouldn't be so afraid of them if they knew how to use them.

A bad student with a gun can be stopped with as many good students with guns, can they not?

Plus, I think gun safety should be taught IN school under strict supervision. Not just how to handle them but types of guns, etc.

They don’t even have to be loaded on school premises. Rubber bullets maybe during training.

I mean, when do you think is an acceptable age to learn? 18? 17? 16? I'm not saying arming 4 year-olds... but it's a useful skill in a country where the right to bear arms is not only prevelent but expected by any upstanding American.
