My sister used to say, "Look what you made me do," when she didn't want to take credit for what she did, too. Of course, she eventually grew up.

He was just convicted a couple of hours ago. He earned honors more than once, if that is what you mean.

This is definitely not the same "stuff." It is extremely difficult to prove Seditious Conspiracy. He joins a very short list of folks convicted of this offense.

I thought you guys called Ray Epps, the official conspiracy theory FBI Informant.
5 ups, 2y
How many Ray Eppses were there?

Does the FBI allow their "informants," to be tried and convicted? I think you are mixed up. Several of the "Oathkeepers," turned on their fellow rioters, just like they previously turned on their country. They are not technically "informants," but providers of some of the information the secured Rhodes' conviction."

Not only did I miss it then, I can't find it in the archives, now. None-the-less, even if he had given them info in the past, his goose is officially cooked, now.

Fact: At least 3 FBI operatives or cutouts were speaking on the Oath Keepers “walkie-talkie” app used by the Oath Keepers on January 6th. They were THE ONLY ONES calling for violence!

Proof?
2 ups, 2y
Wow! Do you mean to say that the FBI actually works under cover when they suspect people are plotting against America? How dare they?

Oh noes, some politicians pissed their pants because the people are fed up with their bullshit, we need years of stupid investigations to smear the Orange Man! But we need to burn down the entire country when Fentanyl Floyd gets what he had coming!

He didn't overdose. And Jan 6 was a traitorous riot by traitorous conservatives
3 ups, 2y
Real conservatives try to maintain the status quo. The 1-6-21 rioters are extremists, the opposite of conservatives.

So what would you call it when Antifa extremists set fire to a church and attempt to breach the White House forcing Donald Trump to be evacuated to a secure bunker? Also, Fentanyl Floyd did indeed overdose, it was literally brought up in the cop’s trial.

"So what would you call it when Antifa extremists set fire to a church"

That's arson

"and attempt to breach the White House forcing Donald Trump to be evacuated to a secure bunker?"

Did they do that?

"Also, Fentanyl Floyd did indeed overdose, it was literally brought up in the cop’s trial"

Somebody saying something at a trial doesn't mean it actually happened

Your argument lost a bit of its bite when two members of the right-wing boogaloo boys were convicted for burning down the police station in Milwaukee. Of course, not all the violence that followed Police Violence demonstrations was from the right. Common gang members took advantage of the situations and looted for profit. In Portland hundreds of people have been arrested by local, state and Federal officials and charged with riot related charges. None of them tried to overthrow the government. So, while I am glad they are off the street, it is not the same.

Do you have a link to a news story about the Milwaukee boogaloo boys? I never heard that, would like to see what your source is. You are wrong about Portland though, there were Antifa extremists who lay siege to the Federal courthouse over there for over 100 days: https://nypost.com/2020/07/22/portland-protesters-barricade-courthouse-with-federal-officers-inside/amp/

I am sorry. I made a mistake. I wrote Milwaukee when I meant Minneapolis. Here is a source: https://www.startribune.com/brainerd-man-sentenced-to-four-years-in-federal-prison-for-role-in-burning-minneapolis-police-third/600051280/

I'm not saying that BLM associated groups did not demonstrate in large numbers. I just brought to your attention that they were almost always shadowed by right-wing counter protesters. The longest sentence to date for these demonstrations was for one of the leaders of the counter-protesters who shot a gun over the heads of a BLM group at one of these events.

Seditious Conspiracy is just one step below Treason, as a crime against the United States of America. Since the law was passed in 1861, only a hundred or so people have been charged under its provisions, in post-Civil War history. In 1920, three Communists in New York were found not guilty of Sedition charges. In the 1930's ten Puerto Rican Separatists were convicted and each were sentenced to 90-years in prison. A couple dozen right-wing extremists who support the fascist movement were charged just before WWII. None of them were convicted. In 1989 three members of the left-wing members of the United Freedom Front were charged and convicted of Seditious Conspiracy. In 1995 Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman, a prominent Muslim cleric, and nine others were convicted of seditious conspiracy for planning to bomb New York City landmarks after the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

Being happy that someone whose organization played a role in facilitating the violence that led to attacks on cops that went on for hours in an attempt to overthrow our system of self-government, is not "freaking out." Twisting yourselves into pretzels trying to find excuses for the Tangerine Traitor's Treasonous Tumult, if Freaking Out.

One day, and probably not long from now, a Conservative Republican will convince a majority of Americans that he or she is the best choice for president and will capture a majority of Electoral College votes. On the day that Congress certifies that election, I will pause and remember this moment in history when our Democratic Republic was protected from violent attackers.

Alright since you were decently respectful with your response, I’ll show you the same level of respect back. The people who did cause trouble on that day, go ahead and give them their day in court, I won’t argue with that. That’s a very small fraction of the people who went to the Capitol on that day though, the vast majority of the people were doing exactly what Trump told them to do: peacefully protest and only peacefully protest. You can disagree with Trump’s claims that the election was stolen, I personally disagree with you on that, but that’s an argument for another thread. What is undeniable though is that Trump told the protesters to be peaceful. Ultimately, what I have a problem with is that Democrats and MSM are using the actions of a small amount of troublemakers that went against what Trump said to do in order to falsely smear Trump as leading an insurrection against the US. Trump did nothing of the sort, he is a Patriot who has done more for this country than the previous four Presidents combined.

Most Japanese people were peacefully at home on December 7, 1941. A few thousand of their countrymen attacked our Western Fleet. We held Japan responsible. If Trump had not started the "Stop the Steal" movement, would Rhodes have started his conspiracy? Would the hundreds of people, who showed up with real and improvised weapons, spent millions of dollars traveling to D.C. on 1-6-21? Would the thousand or so people charged with crimes and the hundreds still being investigated, have allegedly done illegal acts that day? I believe that history will show him to be the opposite of a "Patriot." We will see.
