That doesn't make me feel better about Mob Boss Joe. If he allows a rail strike it will increase inflation further, especially on food and gas.

Buttigieg is more than useless. Biden is so pro union he already gave them a 25% retroactive raise on the previous negotiations. He’ll let the strike go through so the unions get what they want.



Forget the inflation, shortages of stuff will be everywhere! Just another hit to the economy to push it into recession even harder.

Think about a diesel shortage, which will be one of the results of a rail strike. Not to mention that they say there are not enough trucks to compensate for a rail strike. 



 And on the raises and other demands by the union, do you not think that after one union is able to do it others will follow? Again, raising the prices of everything.

There are about 12 unions involved with the railroads. There are four that do not have contract issues resolved. My understanding is if they strike, the rest will strike.

I know they were given one sick day, of course in addition to three weeks vacation per year. You have to wonder why they can't compromise on three sick days?
