No it's not. They have no authority to get information, while those that have authority are the one's who would profit from hiding it. If you have nothing to hide (as our totally non-biased Justice Department would say) then just let us see.
This is like arguing with a third grader. We have suspicions, which could be cleared up by transparency, which those running elections will not allow. We have no proof because those who run the elections won't allow anyone to see behind the curtain.
