Do you know who wants to prevent this from happening more than liberals do? The oil companies. That's black gold shooting out of that pipe. That pipeline is probably an older one. Like 50 or 60 years old.
And if this is what you think happens all the time then you're flat out wrong. There are thousands of oil pipelines all over the US. They are shared by several oil companies.
If events like you picture were commonplace then oil would be leaking all over the place.
And don't forget, oil is a naturally occurring substance. It is part of nature. Nature will take care of spilled oil. More oil seeps out from underground in the Gulf of Mexico in 1 day the all of the oil from the BP oil spill when Obama was president. In other words, an oil spill is NOT an environmental disaster.
