My response to such satire: I am a MAGA movement supporter but not to the extreme like white supremacy, conspiracy theories, islamophobia, christian nationalism, and co. I am not female (I'm male and was born male). I voted CRT once but never again.

I am islamophobic and a christian nationalist. I'm also homophobic, transphobic, and I believe that the entirety of big pharma needs to be destroyed and rebuilt.

What's the difference between freedom of the press and freedom of speech? Isn't the press covered under the freedom of speech? I can see why you would put "freedom of press" in there to clarify, but I don't see how they're really different.

free speech is "the power or right to express one's opinions without censorship, restraint, or legal penalty", yet freedom of the press is "the fundamental principle that communication and expression through various media, including printed and electronic media, especially published materials, should be considered a right to be exercised freely."

I don’t think any of these things is necessarily super harmful in moderation. She’s not talking about banning drugs, for instance, which can be extremely harmful. Or failing your classes, skipping school entirely — those kinds of things.

I think the goal of parenting is to raise an autonomous human being who can manage their own lives, not a person who needs hand-holding at every decision-point. Because eventually, the kid will be grown and out of the house. Then what?
