Because God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. Man and woman were meant to get married to each other, not man and man, not woman and woman. In the Bible, (Leviticus 18:22), it says “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.”

So because your religion says so. Why should anyone else care? I don't belong to your religion, so why should I have to follow the rules of your religion? Would you like it if Muslims tried to force their religious rules onto you?
