What this picture does not show is the garden hose to the washing machine. The hose runs to a fire hydrant that’s farther to the left of what the picture shows. They also tapped into electricity from a light pole.

Yes I know that they tapped into city services for the washing machine. It's such a shame that all of the politicians have contributed to this issue.

The mods didn't like it either. They initially said it wasn't on topic. But at least it's a political issue out here, because of the crime associated with it.

I like your meme, and I appreciate you posting it. I was unaware of how bold some are with hooking up appliances of all things. I’ve seen news articles about people camping in front of businesses and the store owners having to move them out every day… and the mess to be cleaned. Then the stories of people being harassed when trying to walk passed them. I feel bad for people not having homes, but I guess some just don’t try.

That's a very good point, if people don't make an effort to help themselves this is what happens.
Which only contributes to crime, unsafe conditions, and a deterioration of life quality for everyone, including the homeless.
It's a multi-faceted problem and considering like in my city the amount of money the city spends in comparison to the results it gets is not good. Along with the fact that over seven million dollars in homeless services cannot be accounted for, hopefully that gives you a better idea of why we're in this situation. Although it's only a couple of examples.
