Knocking off a country's top general without a declaration of war is... well... an act of war.

Notably, America hasn't done that with respect to Russia's generals, even though we have the power to, even in the midst of all these war crimes and devastation in Ukraine.

Going back to the Soleimani assassination - we're lucky, we got off easy when Iran's retaliation took the form of only a handful of missiles lobbed at a U.S. base, causing no deaths and "only" 100+ traumatic brain injuries.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/10/world/middleeast/iraq-iran-brain-injuries.html

Now, if we started assassinating Russia's top brass willy-nilly without a war declaration, I expect the retaliation from Putin would take... an enhanced form.

KAMIKAZE MEMES NOVEMBER 7TH... KAMIKAZE MEMES NOVEMBER 9TH... No price (especially nuclear war) is too high to pay to [support current thing | image tagged in crazy alexandria ocasio-cortez | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
New liberal playbook from twenty seconds after the election, when we switch back to triple masks and lockdown panic, just leaked. Looks good.

Yeah, but Iran took them hostages in 1979. Surely that warrants starting a war with them while there's still people around who remember....

So just to clarify, in your infinite wisdom, you do not support avoiding war by murdering a couple of the bad guys (as a warning to the rest of them). And you DO support starting literal nuclear war by paying off and arming all of the bad guys?
Why us that?

Trump Putin puppet | Did anyone forget me and my special little pet? | image tagged in trump putin puppet | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
That final stage in ousting ISIL that was drawn up in 2014 that Trump took credit for despite Obama being President at the time? Was it the US that lead the major assault? Nope.
Russia? Nope.
The Kurdish Peshmerga, Iraqi Shiite militia, and Iranian Quds Force (the largest foreign contingent in Iraq and Syria) that did most of that fighting were lead by, yup, you guessed it, General Soleimani.
Same with the Kurdish in Syria again with Quds that together were doing the majority of the fighting against ISIL there, while our soldiers sat in a base, making sure Turkey and whatnot whouldn't attack the Kurds. Till Trump pulled out the day after Erdogan told him to.

Trump tried to start a war with Iran THREE times because, um, Iran took American hostages in 1979(!?!) - the third was going to be with nukes, btw, on the eve of Biden taking office - and when it finally started the second time, he pulled out when Iran blew up the Iraqi barracks where the US soldiers who "weren't there" .... "just got headaches." Pulled out quicker than Cowboy Reagan did out of Lebanon for the same. Who knows how many years till we find out the how many dead on that one that he was too embarrassed to honor.

Meanwhile, Capt Bone Spurs signed Afghanistan over to the Taliban in a meeting without anyone from the goverment of Afghanistan present. Started a rapid withdrawal of troops from there and Somalia despite our generals and whatnot advising him not to in an overt effort to leave a mess of things in Biden's lap, including a just nuked Iran.

Will this lead his boss, Putin, to nuke Ukraine? We can only hope not, maybe the assist he's getting from a newly antagonistic Iran we were on the road to peace with before Trump tore up the deal preventing them from developing their nukes will be enough for now till who knows what may develop.

The moral of with this little story is that when dolts *bleep* with people, wearing a rubber on their wee head and safely hiding that up their *bleep* may not prove to be the *bleep*ing best way to *bleep* with them, because they might just turn and kick them in their diminutive rotted *bleep*sac.

Just to clarify:
●Biden handed over Afghanistan to the Taliban. (Your timeline is a little fuzzy... the US surrender in Afghanistan happened in 2021.)
●Iran: never stopped building nuclear weapons. Not under Obama, not under trump, not under Biden. The only difference is Obama paid them to do it and trump didn't. The only reason trump ignored the "nuclear deal" was because Iran continued to build nuclear weapons and continued not letting inspectors into their facilities.
●Putain invaded Ukraine during the Obama administration because he knew Obama would stay on his knees. Putain invaded Ukraine AGAIN under Biden cause he knew he could profit off of it. Joe's love letter "sanctions" on Russian oil is the only reason Russia can afford the war. The sanctions don't address 3rd party oil and gas. So the USA, Europe etcetera, "punished" Putain by doubling the price of his natural gas and continue to buy it from third party countries like Lithuania and India.
●In world politics only results matter. Not crazy tweets and spray tans.
●The results of Democrat weakness (kowtowing to any and all foreign nations) is ww3.
●This may or may not be a "good" result for you, I don't know. But one thing is certain: none of it would have happened under Trump. Russia, China, Ukraine, Iran etcetera would never have doubled down on ww3 under a Republican. They didn't know for sure if Trump was as crazy as he acted. And the DO know for sure that Biden is as weak and demented as he acts.
●So my Question for you is: is it worth it?

You're winging false fanfic after these things were clarified for you.
Perhaps you should look these things up and leave the partisan propaganda for the cultists.
Not to be harsh, but you can't even spell "Putin" correctly, yet claim to be in a position to state what he has been thinking.

Trump promised on the campaign trail in 2016 that he'd oust Russia from Ukraine. Instead, he sought to remove sanctions placed against them.
John Bolton stated Putin was banking on Trump withdrawing from NATO in 2021, after which he would waltz right into Ukraine. And other countries. Now we have Ukraine whupping the spit out of the Russians.

I just skimmed through some more. Iran does NOT have nuclear weapons. The rest you added to that was likewise nonsense.

Sidebar: Putain DID invade Ukraine under Obama and Biden.
Putain did not invade Ukraine under Trump
Iran IS continuing to build nuclear weapons
The price of Russian energy DID DOUBLE after our "sanctions." [Who do you think gets that money? You think maybe RUSSIA...]
These are things you could Google in 5 seconds.
We can argue over WHY these things happened. We cannot argue about WETHER these things happened.

You should. Google it.

No, we can't argue. You're trying, but it's irrelevant.

Considering you claim trump tried to nuke Iran and trump left Afghanistan, you might not wanna argue with me about "facts" without doing a deep dive into the subjects at hand.
But thanks for your opinion.
Now answer my question: was it worth it? Is nuclear ww3 worth it to get rid of mean tweets?

You posted opinions - and rather erroneously.
Twisting what I said falls under that.

I deal in facts. It cuts out the bs ping ponging.

●Trump did not surrender to the Taliban. Biden did.
●Your story about trump nuking Iran is obviously false and based on hear-say.
Try again.

No need to keep repeating your fanfic, it won't alter the facts. History has that tendency, you know.

Again thanks for your opinions.
But if the best you can do is "every one of Biden's foriegn policy failures are actually trumps fault," you're probably not going to get too far.
And no, you infact do not get comment timers for referring to real_politics as real_pollyticks or whatever. If the bar was that low, everyone on the main political stream would already be on a timer.

Ok thanks for playing.
I'll be waiting on that "trump nukes Iran" link from a news source other than. www.Chinesegovt.faqcheck.dnc.biz.
Until then save it for peetoo👍

Would you like a link for a Google app from the app store? Or Rubber Ducky Ducky Goo or whatever the Cult45ers call it as recommended by Alex 'Now Broke' Jones and the fine fellas from QAnon?

Funny, if I used a crying image or referred to Real_Politics improperly I'd get a 48.

For future reference:
You distort what I say, I ignore your post.
Cool?

Nice try.
Your claims of trump trying to nuke Iran and pulling out of Afghanistan are totally false.
Trying to rewrite history based on news media hearsay is not gonna fly.
But thanks for your opinion👍

War hasn't been declared in over 80 years. The concept is as functional as the buggy whip.

Horse-and-buggy? These guys were in deployment last time we were at war. They’re saddened by your analogy :(

Declaring war may be passé these days, but if it was good enough for granddad then it’s good enough for me
