That's a really good question.
Working-class people the whole world over now know the left's energy policies are pure crap. But how much does that matter?
The ruling elites are faced with those same obvious failures, but it's difficult to believe their cherished ideologies will change very much.
If I had to guess, we'll see most countries pumping the brakes on the most extreme fantasies next year. For example, "Team Biden's" silly and absolutely impossible EV mandate for 2030, and similar stuff that has no basis in reality. (BTW, the national power grid simply can't support that 2030 EV mandate, and the trend for power generation is going the opposite direction.)
That means heavily-subsidized construction of wind and solar facilities will continue, until the United States goes completely broke. But until then, there'll be much more pushback on the wholesale decommissioning of power plants that still work when it's dark and there's no wind.
