Moth answered this question super well, we're trying to limit the number of unhelpful mods though, as well. So hypothetically, there might be another election in two to five months.

We do not just give out mod. You'd need to wait for a mod election, enter the election and then you'd need to be voted for. Generally mod elections only happen when moderators are removed/an owner isn't satisfied with the mod team's work.

Currently the mod team is very stable so there probably won't be another election for a while.
