No, for several reasons and if you could please clarify I'd appreciate it.
First, I've been retired for almost as long of a period as I served for (and probably for longer than you've been alive), but I don't recollect an 83rd or 104th regiment of the U.S. Marine Corps. I even Googled it and found no mention of these units.
Second, our military is on the borders of all kinds of hot spots, whether we know about it or not. I've been there. Greatest times of my life honestly. It's what happens after they get there that's usually the problem. As I said in my previous comment, Biden could slide his pawns across the chessboard in a vain attempt to boost ratings back here. If he does that then he had better at least follow the war power act and get congressional permission first.
