No. Africans caught and sold Africans into slavery. Remember the original post? My point is that lots of Irish died on ships traveling to America. If you are going to post comments, please put down the bong and focus.
Fella, exactly, YOU injected the Irish into this. If you can't follow whatever your excuse for [lack of] logic or narrative is, then that's on you.
If you find your irrelevant injection actually IS relevant - only not fitting your bogus revisionism - them that's on you too.
Big r/whoosh, as of course Africans didn't sell Irish or any slaves in the English colonies, the English did. G-G-Get it? The trade turned London from a mud flats backwater of a town to the economic center it still is today, the banking and insurance companies and commodities market it built still prominent.
Perhaps you should look things up first before frying anymore egg on your face.
I am a registered Democrat, but I don't identify with any party. I think both are corrupt and self-serving. No partisan hackery here. I dislike both Parties. You post emotional content mostly, not coherent logic. What facts? What happened to "reply?"
You have yet to post anything pertaining to the original post. I don't think you are interested in history. I think you are only interested in political identity.
What point are you trying to make? Do you disagree somehow with the OP? Do you disagree that Africans were the original slave traders in the transatlantic slave trade? Do you think Blacks in the US are owed reparations? I really don't understand what you are trying to say.
YOU inserted something and now you're dodging the point you unintentionally made?
I take it you took my advice and looked things up. You should heve done that BEFORE putting yourself in a position where you feel you have to dig your heels in defense of your bs.
The British outlawed slavery earlier than most African and European kingdoms did. Also, look at the big picture. Slavery is as old as civilization. The idea that slavery should be illegal is very
modern.
Beat the US by 2 decades! In all areas except the territories controlled by the East India Company, and, of course, Australia, where it continued well into the 20th Century.
