Why is Alabama more blue than Georgia? *checks to see if pigs finally learned how to fly or not*
2 ups, 2y
Sure. There's (almost) no such thing as a Republican-run city. Republicans have all but abandoned the metro areas of the country.

Oklahoma City, Talahassee, Fort Worth are some of the larger cities with Republican mayors, but I haven't looked into their city council compositions.

Of course, Republican-led flyover counties with no opportunities and tons of poverty are a dime a dozen.

Yup, especially the ones way up north

actually, its Orange County in the south. and the farming communities in the middle. north is pretty liberal.

The far northern counties are the ones that want to break away from the rest of the state and make their own state

No, silly...what I meant was that California leads the nation in the number of societal problems.
Or, p'raps it is New York, who know? P'raps Illinois...the point is that those are all where societal problems exists in great numbers.
But, of course, you were just being obtuse...you wallow ("waller" in southerner idiom) in your obtuseness.

Greater numbers, or greater proportions?
4 ups, 2y
Yeah, nothing to do with population size at all, which always lands Texas at the top 3 of them lists, btw, if not the top.

Number of problems? Like which ones?

No. I am not going to get into a protracted argument with someone who is intellectually dishonest to himself and to me. You know good and well what societal problems I speak of.
Now run along and wallow in your obtuseness with O_M.

its a simple question... lets make it as easy as possible.

On what metric are blue states worse than red states? You do know what "metric" means right?

Ahhhh, condescension...the last refuge of the ignorant and the obtuse.
0 ups, 2y
still no answer? why is that? you were here 10 seconds ago...
1 up, 2y
answer the question... "On what metric is a red state better than a blue state?"....If you can and will answer the question, there will be no "condescension".... are you up for the challenge?

We kinda do though, just not with everything. I remember learning the metric system in Middle School and High School.

You need to figure out how much deaths per capita. But still, yes, good point.

I'm just saying generally!
Chill out!
I'm supporting the idea! You just need to figure out the murder rate per person to make it perfectly balanced per city. That's all I'm saying.

Per capita is the correct way to look at any metric.. hence the OP

Exactly. Funny to see that we were confused and starting "arguing" though, haha
