Absolutely. Of course it doesn't feel nice to have to cut back on a bit of wellbeing but if we look at it honestly, we've been spoiled for decades. Unlimited growth of welfare is utopian. We need to take a step back in order to leave our grandchildren a livable planet. If we can't take ski trips in the summer to Dubai anymore, so be it. If we can't leave our Nespresso machines on stand by 24/7 but have to turn it off after use and have to wait twenty seconds for it to heat up again, that's just too bad. No more multi-milllionaires driving in circles in cars that cost millions, waisting millions in fossil fulls? Terrible for some but it wil give nature some extra time to heal.
