Okay, I couldn’t help but notice that this meme seems somewhat uneducated, so if I may, I would like to learn you a thing or two about this particular subject, and what you got wrong.

The thing about war brides and men having multiple wives isn’t something God wants. The 7th commandments states that God doesn’t want people to commit adultery, and it is a sin that people had multiple wives and took them as prizes from war.

Please note that this is not a challenge to your intellect or something like that. I don’t want a big online argument or anything, I just wanted state my opinion on this.

Then why does he allow it? Doesn't god make the rules? Couldn't he say "don't do that, ever"?

Can you show me exactly which verses in the Bible say that those things are a sin?

Go to Exodus 20:14 it says “You shall not commit adultery.” I’m the NIV Bible. For context, this is God speaking to Moses giving the Ten Commandments.

As for why he allows it, it’s because he wants us to have free will. He told people not to commit adultery, and yet people did, and remain doing so today. This doesn’t mean God approves of it though.

Having multiple wives isn't adultery. The man is married to them. There are no Bible verses that prohibit polygamy, war brides, slavery, etc

You said God lets people get raped and enslaved because of free will. I'm asking you to explain how that is supposed to make any sense. If you saw somebody about to get raped, would you just sit there and do nothing because of free will?

People like you often bring up free will as an excuse for why God doesn't stop bad things from happening. That argument is trash for multiple reasons

Here's some free advice. If you're going to excuse terrible things you'd better be prepared to explain why

Because it's illogical and lazy. Free will doesn't explain why he lets bad things happen

And it noticeably doesn't give any age of consent for sex or marriage

But this is a law made by modern man. Laws of man have no weight in the bible. Otherwise we wouldn't have sent Roe back to the states so that they could overturn roe v wade.

There are no commandments against slavery or incest or rape or child abuse or…..
