Well simply. America thinks Ukraine's special and won't fall as long as we fund them, unlike Iraq which is in a civil war, Afghanistan who's government collapsed and the Syrian civil war, where the US ended up arming ISIS. That's not true at all. Ukraine are winning because of the 12 HIMARS vehicles we gave them and trained how to use on the targets that our intel is feeding them every day. To cut that off now would be exactly what the Russians are hoping for: the HIMARS would stop targetting Russian supply facilities and command experience, so the Russians would be able to build their advantage back up.

The Ukranians know this which is why they're asking us as nicely as they can not to abandon them when they need us the most. And besides, the US doesn't just ditch its allies in the middle of a war.
