I've noticed that Hollywood likes to have black people be cast as redheads in films, the only example of this that is acceptable to me is Idiris Elba as Knuckles in Sonic the Hedgehog 2.

A democrat argues that the movie is "educational" and also claimed that they "weren't" racist because they "fixed" a kid's movie by changing the protagonist's skin colour.

This is not only promoting black supremacy but also is making the movie seem confusing for if they saw the original film.

Political correctness is involved because those who haven't seen the original don't know that Ariel is actually white but she has been turned into a black person who is for some reason there just because to make white people ashamed.

I'm not a white supremacist but please, if you're going to change a skin colour, just make an inspired movie like a spin off at the very least or a different series but based in Africa to make it even more diverse.

I don't care much about Disney princess movies but I don't mind it if people prefer Ariel looking like she does in the original film and I don't think preferring Ariel looking like she does in the original film is racist. Some other reasons why people don't like this remake of The Little Mermaid is because it has dark undertones and the plot of the film is gonna be very different than the original film. According to Disney, this film will have a more 'Elsa' approach to the film meaning Ariel "won't need a man" much like Elsa from Frozen.
