A. it's just "Ukraine", not "the Ukraine".
B. They're working on it, and Philadelphia is NOT a "Democrat stronghold".

Yes, we do! By "not a Democrat stronghold" I meant that it wasn't, and isn't, flooded by liberal policies, not that it wasn't liberal.

"The Ukraine" is how we here called the country till its independence from the USSR in 1991.
It sounded awkward calling it just "Ukraine," took some getting used to.
