On another meme you said "people complain that the Europeans enslaved the native people but it's just the law of nature. It's called survival of the fittest"

That's not what survival of the fittest means at all

Meaning what still?

Cristobal Colon, that the one who came from a just founded Spain?
How's Spain been doing lately, btw? The rest of Europe?

Back then. What are you getting at? Europe was just the stronger people so they won, back then.
Rome was probably the strongest empire in the world but fell just like France, Spain, and Britain. It's pretty simple. The Europeans won.

Won what? Most of Europe was still Medievel till Truman decided to bring them to the 20th Century. And short of resources from afar to keep stealing, the few Empires crumbled.

Rome was never able to conquer Iran - the only nation it couldn't. 2nd oldest country in the world. It's still here. The Roman Empire is not. Britain is rupturing at such a clip, in a couple of decades what's left of its motto will be, "At least we're still bigger than the Isle of Wight"

Europe depends on Uncle Sam's teat and us to change their tear soaked soiled diapers. Yeah, frame and tack that one above the mantle.

I don't get what you mean. Survival of the fittest doesn't mean killing or enslaving whoever you want.

And I'm here because I can't reply on RP memes

Hence why the settlers were always on the brink of starvation, as celebrated in the upcomign Thanksgiving Day?

Something like half of the pilgrims died on the voyage across the Atlantic

From the Vikings to Roanoke, there are people who got so thoroughly erased, the evidence of them ever being here has been reduced to just words.

70% of agricultural species the world depends on came from Native Americans. Settlers had to be taught how to grow them to not perish. If it wasn't for promises and treaties they repeatedly broke, they would have never gotten a foothold. This is what happens when you make the mistake of thinking others are as civilized and honorable as you.

Very true. The people talking about how successful and mighty the Europeans were either don't realize or fail to mention that the Europeans who came here most likely would've died out if left to their own devices

As many did. Some would actually rather starve than eat fish from streams and rivers full of them because those in Europe were so dirty it was a sure way to get sick and die. They were all pretty much buzzed all the time, having to drink beer or hard cider because they wouldn't drink the water. They smelled really bad for the same reason. In fact, from the tropics in the Americas to Africa to Asia, Europeans were known as stinky monkey people

ooops.. his post by accident.

.... because they were hairy and didn't bathe.

The gun. Well, and canons. That's all they had. That was the advantage their 'civilization' had.

Lol

Being hairier than what they were familiar with, and bathing not being a priority for them at the time...

That still isn't what survival of the fittest means. And that has nothing to do with slavery.

Survival of the fittest is an observation that organisms better suited to their environment are more likely to survive and pass on their genes to future generations. That's it.
