Gaster has seen enough.

You play through and it's all normal until toriel, she instantly tries to attack you with new attacks, every single monster has gaster attacks and gaster sometimes appears and fights you, each time getting stronger, the final battle is gaster, the way it happens is you play through the whole thing, it's nearly the same except toriel hates you and everyone has gaster attacks, until the sans fight, as you beat sans, just as you go for the final hit gaster appears in front of sans, then takes over his body and starts fighting you, his attacks are different hands, blasters and bones, he can control your heart and make it any of the different boss hearts (like the yellow heart to blast, green heart to shield, so on so forth) you defeat gaster but the game remembers so you have to play through twice to finish it, on the second go everything is abandoned, like with the genocide route except you sometimes see gaster in the place of other people, if you try to interact he disappears, the more you interact the more cursed your game becomes, also depending on how many you interact with also will affect your final outcome (work in progress, still thinking of endings) the second gaster fight he stands where sans normally is, gaster has 2 phases now, gaster and W.D. Gaster, by him using his full name he also has full power, you finish the game after beating him

Very long AU but I think it's fun

An AU mashup (Mashuptale) where:
Flowey is replaced with Rosie the Rose AKA Chara
Toriel and Asgore are swapped
Napstablook is replaced with Mettacrit
Papyrus is Underfell style with a twist (and a backstory) + cap. of royal guard
Sans has half his head and is extra depressed and serious (relates to Paps backstory)
Undyne is kicked out of the Royal guard by Paps and she wants to capture you to get back in
Alphys has bad intentions for helping you (so people will do what she says)
Mettaton is replaced with Sir Scratchalot AKA Blooky (I made him a lot more in depth in my own way)
Gaster controlls Sir Scratchalot in his NEO form from the void
Asriel is the one who hated humanity for what they were like to Chara

Othertale
A universe where everything is different but also the same

Sans and papyrus: are bounty hunters and are hunting you because you have a big bounty
Toriel: is depressed but tries to hide it
Asgore: is a maniac but is friendly with humans
Undyne: never entered the royal guard and is helping you not knowing who you are
Alphys: is trying to deceive you but is to good to do it
Mettaton: never got popular and is just a show that you see occasionally on TV with mettaton desperate for viewers
Temmie: is now Temmeh (They call themselves Temeh)
Gaster: retired from being royal scientist and disappeared on his birthday
Monster kid: tries to be a cool kid but is honestly more of a nerd

my idea is an au/fangame where temmie's mental states slowly diminish after every reset, until theres just hordes of barbaric murderous temmies.

It could be a completely normal game of Undertale, but the more depressed you are, the more monsters reflect your personality, with Papyrus showing signs only at a state of crippling depression.
Napstablook is the only monster that doesn't change at all.
This breaks through way too many 4th walls.

Lambdatale Undertale but it uses the plot and character of Half Life 2.
