I do have a leftist tendency of supporting the working-class and labor unions but I do NOT support teacher's unions. Public school teacher's and their unions are a waste of our taxes, they live off of very highly paid salaries and weeks of paid vacation time yet they try act like they are "underpaid" and try to make up excuses to fatten up their already high salary. And they teach absolute garbage to the kids such as critical race theory and LGBTQ+ gender theory. The kind of labor unions I do support are private sector unions that do actual physical work such as Amazon workers not the kind that waste our taxes on teaching kids about racial division and puberty blockers.

I have been a member of the Teamsters and Mechanics Unions. I am not a supporter of Public sector unions.

Fun fact: President Franklin D Roosevelt was in favor of private sector unions but not public sector ones

Unions served a real purpose then, mostly safety and working conditions above all.
