You are correct, 0% increase of inflation month to month, but still 8.5% inflation from this time last year. Too bad you're not president, you can articulate.

The real numbers are more like 13% inflation if you add gas and food back into the calculation.

Sure.. I can articulate... For now. And unless we come up with some kinda cure for aging, me and most everyone else will end up being somewhat less articulate as we age. It's part of being human. But yes what he said could be misleading though.

It seems to me that statement^ could also be misleading. Sh*t costs 8.5% more... Compared to a year ago... Possibly even more compared to 2 years ago.. and so on. But this month ain't any more than last month. And it depends on what you're buying too. For example I saw the same brand 4K TV I bought years ago and it's now hundreds of dollars LESS than it was when I bought it. Seems it is now almost half the price it was. But eh.. idk.

It seems it'd be hard to cool down inflation without also slowing down consumer spending, employment, GDP etc.. I forget the exact quote but Biden mentioned something related to that concept a while ago and everyone freaked out.
