I guess we'll wait and see. Historically the party that won the previous election slides big time in the midterms. Even the wildly popular president Obama suffered huge losses in his first midterms. And he hadn't destroyed a thriving economy, initiated the highest inflation in 40 years, failed utterly on the world stage, destroyed US fossil fuel production, wiped out trillions in stock market value, etc., etc. Plus, he was actually capable of making his way through a press conference without being utterly unable to pronounce words like paxlovid.
Maybe you want to focus on the over-hyped events of 1/6, but the American people are way too smart to fall for demotard political theater like these hearings have been.
